Report a telecommunications operator’s information security incident or personal data breach
Telecommunications operators must report to the authority any significant information security violations or threats to information security in their services and any other incidents that prevent or significantly interfere with the functioning of communication services.
Under Article 2 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 611/2013, which lays down the procedures for notifying personal data breaches, a provider must notify the competent national authority of all personal data breaches.
